McKoy is coming off an outstanding 2006 season in which he was named to the All-Canadian First Team and was an OUA First-Team All-Star.
He dressed in eight games last season where he recorded 48 receptions for 858 yards (second in the CIS) and eight touchdowns. McKoy etched his name into the record books this past season setting a school single-season record in Longest Kickoff Return in a season (118). He also ranks second in single season records of Most Yards Receiving in a Season (858) and Most Receptions in a Season (48).
“We’re very excited for Dave,” said Gryphons head coach, Kyle Walters. “He’s been a valuable asset to the Gryphons football team for the past four years and we’re confident he can contribute to the Roughriders in the professional ranks.”
